Harit Talwar serves as the Independent Chairman of the Board of Better Home & Finance. He brings more than three decades of global experience in consumer banking, payments, and digital transformation.

Most recently, Harit was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, where he founded and led Marcus by Goldman Sachs, building the global consumer platform from the ground up and forging partnerships with major tech and consumer brands. Previously, he was President of U.S. Cards and Chief Marketing Officer at Discover Financial Services, where he helped grow market share and brand recognition. He also held leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, overseeing international consumer banking, and at Citibank in his early career.

In addition to Better, Harit serves on the boards of Mastercard and Apexon, and is deeply involved in educational and philanthropic efforts, including the American India Foundation (as co-Chair) and Ashoka University (as a founding trustee).

He earned a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

David is a leader in financial markets, investment management, and corporate governance.

He is the Founder & CEO of XOUT Capital LLC, an index investment company he established in 2019, and also leads DMB Holdings LLC, a private family office. Previously, David spent over 25 years at Third Avenue Management, where he served as CEO and helped grow the firm into a recognized leader in deep-value investing.

David has also served on the boards of multiple organizations, including Covanta Energy and the City Parks Foundation.

He holds a B.A. from George Washington University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Michael Farello brings a deep background in consumer investment, retail growth, and brand development.  He  provides leadership to Better on brand building, go-to-market strategy, and consumer engagement. 

Michael is a Managing Partner at L Catterton, the world’s largest consumer-focused private equity firm, where he has been since 2006. He focuses on middle-market investments, helping consumer and retail companies scale through brand positioning, digital growth, and global expansion.

Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at Dell, where he managed consumer marketing and e-business initiatives, and he has held leadership positions in marketing and consulting across multiple industries.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Arnaud Massenet has served as a Director of Better Home & Finance since its public listing and is a Managing Partner at NaMa Capital Advisors LLP, where he focuses on growth-stage investments in consumer, technology, and media companies.

Arnaud began his career at Morgan Stanley in London, where he rose to lead the derivatives group. In 1999, he co-founded Net-a-Porter, the pioneering luxury fashion e-commerce platform that reshaped online retail. He later founded South West Capital Partners LLP, an investment vehicle specializing in media and retail. Most recently, Arnaud served as CEO of Aurora Acquisition Corp., the SPAC that merged with Better in 2023.

He earned a B.A. from the Lincoln International School of Business in Paris and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. Over the years, he has backed and advised a number of high-growth companies, including Deliveroo and Houzz, and continues to play an active role as both investor and board member.

Bhaskar Menon serves as an Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.

Bhaskar has extensive leadership experience in the technology and business process outsourcing sectors, including senior executive roles at Mphasis Corporation. Throughout his career, he has overseen large-scale global operations, complex audit frameworks, and compliance programs for multinational businesses.

At Better, Bhaskar provides governance expertise and independent oversight, ensuring the company maintains rigorous standards in financial reporting and risk management.

Prabhu is a Managing Partner at NaMa Capital Advisors LLP, an investment management firm he co-founded in 2021 (formerly Novator Capital). He has more than two decades of experience advising on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and structured investments, including as a partner at White & Case LLP and later Mayer Brown LLP. His work has spanned private equity, family offices, and growth-stage technology investments.

He earned his degree from the University of Cambridge and is active an investor in financial and technology ventures.

At Better, Prabhu brings expertise in investment structuring, corporate finance, and long-term strategic partnerships.
